Objective:
CAPS Medical is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with focus on design and implementation of complex multidisciplinary medical devices, to join our growing development team and lead the mechanical engineering activities in the company, with role growth opportunities.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing company products through full product lifecycle: design, manufacturing, testing, documentation and ECOs implementation, and suppliers management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead design activities of the company devices, and development of its manufacturing process, while meeting medical device standards; Conduct feasibility evaluations and testing where needed
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate the mechanical team in the company, and establish and enhance the required core competencies to deliver company products
- Manage the manufacturing and testing subcontractors, setting requirements, process control, and acceptance testing
- Conduct and approve development experiments, design verifications and process validations
- Support company products in pre-clinical and clinical activities
Requirements:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from a well-known university
- At least 4 years of proven Mechanical product development
- At least 2 years of proven Medical Device design experience
- Hands-on experience in integration, manufacturing, volume production
- Class II/ Class III medical device design experience – Advantage
- Experience in delivery systems design and electronic packaging -Advantage
- Deep understanding in manufacturing processes -Advantage
- Team Player with ownership and leadership skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
- Knowledge on Engineering Change management processes and PLM tools
- Fluency in English and Hebrew (written and verbal)
