Boris Kogan

VP Innovation

Boris brings over 15 years of international experience in leading the design and delivery of multidisciplinary systems at major defense, semiconductor and robotics industry organizations. With a background in establishing and leading R&D, Boris and the teams he has led have introduced cutting-edge technologies and delivered highly complex systems, covering the full product life cycle and culminating in volume production. Prior to joining CAPS Medical, Boris held a Senior Mechatronics Architect position at ASML (AMS: ASML), located in Wilton, CT (US). There he led a team, which included Architects and Mechatronics Engineers, driving multidisciplinary hardware and software design teams, in a $60M development of a system of multiple robotic platforms. His team developed the full range of system requirements including defining work-packages, balancing performance/cost/timing, and mitigating risks. Boris holds BSc and MSc degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the Technion in Israel and Cornell University in the US.
